Key Responsibilities :

- Data Migration Strategy : Work closely with project teams to design and implement the data migration strategy, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition of data from Genesys to Amazon Connect.

- Data Integration & Transformation : Design and build robust data integration pipelines to move data between Genesys, Amazon Connect, and other systems. This includes transforming and mapping data to ensure consistency and compatibility.

- ETL Processes : Develop, manage, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to handle large volumes of data from both the Genesys platform and Amazon Connect.

- Data Quality Assurance : Ensure that the migrated data maintains its integrity, accuracy, and completeness. Implement data validation processes to verify the quality of data throughout the migration process.

- Data Warehouse Management : Assist in the integration of migrated data into a central data warehouse or data lake, ensuring proper storage and accessibility for business analytics and reporting.

- Automation & Scripting : Develop scripts and automation solutions to streamline data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, minimizing manual intervention and improving efficiency.

- Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot any data related issues during and post-migration, ensuring smooth operation and timely resolution of problems.

- Collaboration with Stakeholders : Collaborate with other teams, including cloud architects, developers, and business analysts, to ensure that the data migration aligns with business requirements and technical constraints.

- Performance Optimization : Continuously optimize data pipelines and workflows to ensure high performance and scalability for large datasets and real-time data processing.

- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data migration processes, data models, and technical workflows, ensuring transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.

- Post-Migration Support : Provide ongoing support and optimization for data pipelines and integrations post-migration, ensuring that data continues to flow smoothly between Amazon Connect and other systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven Experience : 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with hands-on experience in building and managing data pipelines, integrations, and migrations.

- Genesys Experience : Solid understanding of Genesys platforms (Genesys Cloud, Genesys Engage) and experience with their data models, APIs, and reporting capabilities.

- Amazon Connect Knowledge : Familiarity with Amazon Connect and its data integration capabilities, including experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) like S3,Lambda, and DynamoDB.

- ETL & Data Integration : Strong experience designing and implementing ETL processes, using tools like Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, Talend, or AWS Glue.

- Data Modeling & Transformation : Expertise in data modeling, data transformation, and working with both structured and unstructured data.

- SQL & NoSQL Databases : Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.

- Experience with cloud-based databases is a plus.

- Cloud Technologies : Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and services, particularly AWS services like Redshift, Lambda, S3, RDS, and others.

- Programming & Scripting Skills : Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation, automation, and integration.

- Data Quality & Testing : Experience with data quality practices, including validation, data cleansing, and ensuring the accuracy of migrated data.

- Problem Solving & Troubleshooting : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve data issues during migration.

- Collaboration & Communication : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills :

- AWS Certification : AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect is a plus.

- Experience with Migration Projects : Experience working on large-scale data migrationn projects, especially in the context of contact center platforms like Genesys and Amazon Connect.

- Familiarity with Reporting Tools : Experience integrating and working with reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or AWS QuickSight for business intelligence and analytics.

- Agile Methodologies : Familiarity with Agile project management practices and working within an Agile team environment.

- DevOps Practices : Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automation tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes for data operations
