Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure data services to design and implement effective data solutions, support data quality, and contribute to cloud migration strategies. This role is key in building scalable data pipelines, maintaining data integrity, and collaborating on data architecture best practices within a modern enterprise environment.

Primary Responsibilities :

Design and Build Data Solutions :

- Develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and related tools.

Production Support & Data Quality :

- Support the Enterprise Data Environment team with data quality initiatives and ensure stable production operations.

Cloud Data Migration :

- Collaborate on strategies to migrate existing systems to modern cloud-based platforms (Azure/AWS), ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.

Data Architecture & Documentation :

- Contribute to data architecture discussions and maintain up-to-date documentation, including data models, standards, and best practices.

Improve Data Management :

- Focus on optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data security, and improving overall data governance and storage processes.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Experience :

- 6+ years in the IT industry as a Developer, Senior Developer, or Data Engineer

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake

- 3+ years working with Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, and strong SQL query development

- Solid understanding of data modeling, query optimization, and data governance principles

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Azure Logic Apps

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Certifications :

- Relevant Azure certifications are required or preferred
