Role Overview:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining robust data pipelines that serve as the backbone for our clients' analytical capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and cloud architects, to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of data processing workflows and the reliability of information delivered to stakeholders, ensuring that our clients can make data-driven decisions with speed and accuracy. This role is based in Haryana and requires a candidate capable of navigating complex cloud environments to optimize data flow and storage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using AWS Data Services to ensure seamless ingestion, transformation, and storage of large-scale datasets.

- Optimize data storage strategies on S3 and utilize Athena for high-performance querying to support real-time business intelligence needs.

- Manage and scale distributed data processing clusters using EMR to handle complex ETL workloads and large-scale data transformations.

- Architect real-time streaming solutions using Kinesis to capture and process event-driven data, ensuring low-latency availability for downstream applications.

- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures to ensure data integrity and performance across relational and non-relational databases.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate data workflows and implement best practices in data governance and security.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in architecting data solutions within the AWS ecosystem, specifically leveraging S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, and Kinesis.

- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation, performance tuning, and database schema design.

- Proven ability to lead technical discussions and communicate complex data architecture concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize cloud resource utilization.

- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field, with a track record of delivering enterprise-grade solutions.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid or on-site environment in Haryana, demonstrating high levels of self-motivation and team collaboration.
