As a Data Center Migration Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation journey, orchestrating the seamless transition of critical infrastructure and applications from traditional on-premise data centers to modern, scalable cloud environments. This pivotal role involves meticulous planning, hands-on execution, and close collaboration with our IT Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, and Security teams, as well as various business units and external vendors. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing our operational resilience, driving significant cost efficiencies, and establishing a robust, future-ready cloud footprint that empowers our business with agility and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive data center migration strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, architectural standards, and compliance requirements for various business stakeholders.

- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of complex workload migrations to public and hybrid cloud platforms, minimizing downtime and mitigating risks to business operations.

- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to architect secure, high-performing, and cost-optimized cloud environments that meet specific business needs.

- Oversee post-migration validation, performance tuning, and optimization activities, ensuring stability, cost-efficiency, and adherence to service level agreements for all migrated systems.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices in IT Infrastructure and Cloud Migration.

Required Skillset :

- Proven ability to successfully plan, manage, and execute large-scale data center migration projects, including experience with various migration methodologies (e.g., lift-and-shift, re-platforming, refactoring).

- Deep understanding of core IT Infrastructure components such as networking, storage, virtualization, and operating systems, coupled with hands-on experience in public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing robust cloud architectures, leveraging cloud-native services for scalability, security, and high availability.

- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and a strong analytical mindset, capable of diagnosing complex technical issues and devising effective solutions under pressure.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, adept at articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences and driving cross-functional collaboration.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundational understanding of technology.
