Data Center Engineer - Microsoft 365 Technologies

Role : Data Center Engineer.

Experience Preferred : 5- 8 Years.

Location : Mumbai.

Job Description :

- New technology implementations and upgrade of current infrastructure to provide smooth end user experience.

- Responsible to manage the core Infrastructure technologies like Active directory, Microsoft365 suite, SAN & NAS, Linux, VMware cluster, Backups, DNS, DHCP, Group policy, Antivirus &Malware solution etc.

- Manage hybrid workloads and integrations with Microsoft Azure including Azure VMs, storage accounts, and related services.

- Support migrations and deployments to cloud infrastructure as needed.

- Responsible to maintain end user and server patch compliance and Antivirus compliance.

- Define standards to maintain the infrastructure technologies like Servers, Storage, End user systems, Cloud, network and applications.

- Maintain the internal and external domains and certificates.

- Accountable for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to core technologies and handle escalations.

- Capacity planning to ensure that enough resources are available to run the applications and infrastructure services.

- Provide directions to other IT team members and application teams on Infrastructure.

- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.

- Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve complex issues.

- Manage the external infrastructure, support teams and provide direction to support to day-to-day operations.

- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.

- Liaise with various technology vendors, partners, and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

- Developing and maintaining network documentation, including network diagrams, procedures, and policies.

- Proven hands-on experience on core datacenter technologies like Windows, Active directory, DNS, DHCP,

Microsoft 365 technologies like email, Teams, one drive, VMware virtualization technologies.

- Working experience with backup technologies.

- Experience on Veeam backup would be an added advantage.

- Working experience with Azure cloud technologies and understanding of other cloud suite.

- Work experience or understanding on web servers like IIS, etc.

- Knowledge and technical understanding of security solutions like Antivirus, patch management, etc.

- Hand on experience on SAN & NAS technologies.

- Understanding of networking technologies like IPS, Firewall, VPN, routing and switching would.

- Hands on experience on scripting, PowerShell.
