Role Overview :

We are looking for a Data Center Asset Management Specialist to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware assets in our data center environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in asset tracking, audits, compliance, vendor coordination, and reporting using industry-standard tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform Physical Asset Verification (PAV) and reconcile with recorded inventory.

- Maintain accurate records of servers, storage, network devices, cables, SFPs, and peripherals.

- Handle inward/outward asset movements, server decommissioning, and spare part inventory.

- Coordinate with vendors for repairs, replacements, and procurement.

- Ensure compliance with data center operational standards and support audit requirements.

- Generate daily/weekly/monthly asset MIS reports using Excel/Power BI and AM tools.

- Work on ServiceNow / ITAM tools / CMDB systems for asset lifecycle updates.

- Collaborate with IT/application teams for decommissioning, defective part returns, and gate pass approvals.

Mandatory Skills :

- IT Asset & Hardware Lifecycle Management (servers, storage, network devices).

- Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Reporting).

- Audit & Compliance (PAV, ISO standards).

- Vendor/Procurement Coordination.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Knowledge of ITIL / ITSM frameworks.

- Experience in change management / access control logging.

- Familiarity with spare parts & stock management.
