Data Archiving Consultant - SAP ILM/Basis Modules

Aaryavin Services is looking for a highly experienced Data Archiving Consultant (SAP ILM/Basis) to join our clients transformation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade data archiving and retention strategies using SAP ILM and Basis administration to ensure compliance, performance optimization, and data lifecycle management.

Key Skills & Experience:

- 12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis and Data Archiving

- Minimum 5+ years of expertise in SAP ILM (Information Lifecycle Management)

- Strong proficiency with SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and ECC environments

- Proven ability to design and execute ILM-based archiving and retention policies

- Experience with GDPR, SOX, and data privacy compliance frameworks

- Hands-on experience with SAP Content Server, OpenText, PBS, or ILM-compliant storage solutions

- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in S/4HANA transition projects and archiving strategies

- Knowledge of legacy system decommissioning using SAP ILM or third-party tools

- Understanding of data blocking, anonymization, and data deletion processes
