Job Responsibilities : IT Expert (Data Architect/ System Architect, Business analyst)

- Designing data systems and databases; this includes structuring, simplifying, streamlining systems, and consolidating data effectively.

- Coordinating vendor, data scientists and analysts to gather business requirements and ensure that the data architecture is optimized for business processes.

- Development of the business and technical requirements for the development of data platforms for all projects and sub projects.

- Responsible for quality assurance testing of all data platforms and coordinating the issue reporting to vendor and response. Responsible for also the user acceptance testing for all projects.

- Assess system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements.

- Protecting and secure the department's data by establishing data security protocols and disaster recovery systems.

- Formulating data strategies and policies, and assisting in the implementation of data standards, data governance, and data management protocols across the departments.

- Creating data models that outline the type, nature, and relationship of data sources needed to support business information needs and data integration.

- Working closely with IT teams, data analysts, and management to ensure architecture is aligned with organizational goals.

- Regularly reviewing and updating existing data architecture to meet the evolving needs of the company.

Key Skills Required :

- Experience managing large scale IT projects that are data related is a must.

- Extensive knowledge in database structure systems, data mining and segmentation techniques, and different programming languages, such as SQL, Oracle, and Python.

- Experience working on production systems and familiarity with agile development practices and issue tracking tools (eg. JIRA, TFS), version control (e.g. Git) and collaborative development (e.g. GitHub) is essential.

- Proficiency in data modeling techniques and data warehousing principles.

- Strong understanding of metadata, data organization, data quality assessment, and data profiling.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

- Data visualization and reporting skills can also be beneficial. Understanding of laws and regulations related to data security, privacy, and compliance is often required.

Education Qualifications :

- B.E/ B.Tech or master's degree in computer science/Information Technology/ Software Engineering/ Data Science

Experience (in yrs) :

- Proven experience of 7+ years as a data architect, data scientist, data analyst, or similar role in Central or State government
