Role Overview :
As a Data Architect (Snowflake), you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data architecture for our clients, leveraging the power of Snowflake. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of the data warehouse, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable and efficient data warehouse solutions on Snowflake to meet the evolving business needs of our clients.
- Develop and maintain data models, ETL pipelines, and data governance policies to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with data engineers to build and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading of data into Snowflake.
- Work with data scientists and business analysts to understand their data requirements and provide them with the necessary data access and support.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the Snowflake data warehouse to ensure optimal query performance and resource utilization.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers and architects.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, including data modeling, ETL development, and performance optimization.
- Proven expertise in data governance, data security, and data quality management principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, particularly those related to data warehousing and analytics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with large datasets and complex data pipelines.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with other cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
