Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Architect to lead the design, governance, and scalability of enterprise-grade data platforms. This role will drive architectural strategy, optimize performance and cost, and ensure secure, high-quality data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and advanced data use cases.

You will act as a technical leader and design authority, partnering with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver robust and future-ready data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and govern enterprise Snowflake architecture (multi-account, multi-region, workload isolation)

- Establish and enforce data modeling standards (Dimensional, Data Vault, Hybrid)

- Drive performance tuning, query optimization, and cost governance

- Implement robust security frameworks (RBAC, masking, encryption, auditing)

- Architect scalable data ingestion pipelines (batch, streaming, APIs, CDC)

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on data platform strategy

- Mentor engineering teams and enforce architectural best practices

- Evaluate and integrate modern data tools (dbt, ELT platforms, BI tools)

Must-Have Qualifications :

- 10+ years in Data Engineering / Data Architecture

- Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture

- Virtual warehouses, micro-partitioning, time travel, zero-copy cloning

- Strong data modeling experience (Star Schema, Data Vault, Enterprise models)

- Advanced SQL performance tuning skills

- Hands-on experience with ELT/ETL tools (dbt, Informatica, Fivetran, Matillion, ADF)

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Strong knowledge of data ingestion (Snowpipe, CDC, streaming, APIs)

- Expertise in security & governance (RBAC, masking, encryption, audit logging)

Nice to Have :

- Experience with dbt, Snowflake Native Apps, Iceberg / External Tables

- Exposure to Data Mesh architecture

- BI tools experience (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy)

- Experience supporting AI/ML workloads on Snowflake

- Snowflake / Cloud certifications
