We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect with expertise in Azure, AWS, and AI to design and deliver scalable, secure, and AI-driven data architectures for enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Architecture & AI-Driven Insights :
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Cognitive Services.
- Implement data mesh, lakehouse, and modern data warehouse architectures.
Data Management & Governance :
- Drive data wrangling, cleansing, and transformation for accuracy and reliability.
- Implement data quality frameworks (Azure DQS, AWS Glue DataBrew, Great Expectations).
- Manage lineage, cataloging, and governance with Azure Purview, AWS Lake Formation.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2 via robust governance and retention policies.
Data Engineering & Pipeline Automation :
- Optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured & unstructured data.
- Implement data deduplication, anomaly detection, and outlier handling.
AI-Powered Data Processing & Analytics :
- Leverage Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, Databricks MLflow for predictive analytics.
- Build NLP/NLQ-driven BI using Power BI AI Insights & AWS QuickSight Q.
- Integrate vector search and AI-driven search with Azure AI Search & AWS Kendra.
Cloud Optimization & Cost Management :
- Optimize Azure OpenAI & AWS Bedrock deployments for cost and performance.
- Implement serverless & event-driven architectures with Azure Functions & AWS Lambda.
- Manage storage optimization across Blob Storage & S3 for AI/ML models.
Functional Leadership :
- Collaborate with business leaders to align architecture with business goals.
- Define and enforce data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks.
- Mentor engineering teams and lead PoCs for emerging AI & data technologies.
- Create best practices, guidelines, and documentation for enterprise adoption.
Technical Expertise :
- Proven experience in Azure (Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, OpenAI, Cognitive Services) and AWS (Redshift, Glue, SageMaker, Bedrock, Kendra).
- Strong skills in SQL, PySpark, pandas, Dask for large-scale data wrangling.
- Hands-on with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and transformation frameworks.
- Experience with Azure Purview, AWS Lake Formation, RBAC, data masking, encryption.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML integration, NLP, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, Terraform, CloudFormation.
Soft Skills :
- Strong stakeholder management & communication abilities.
- Capability to translate business problems into AI-powered data solutions.
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, pharma, finance) preferred.
Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory) :
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
- AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty.
- AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty.
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional.
