Data Architect - Big Data

Key Responsibilities :

- Translate business requirements into high-level architectural blueprints ensuring feasibility, functionality, and maintainability.

- Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows using AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lambda).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, developers, product owners, and enterprise architects to align solutions with business goals and enterprise standards.

- Lead architectural reviews, approve business and functional requirements, and define testing strategies.

- Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise data governance, security policies, and compliance standards.

- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineering teams.

- Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in Big Data and cloud architecture.

Primary Skills (Non-Negotiable) :

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, specifically for data platform deployment and data pipeline orchestration.

- Extensive experience in software/application architecture design with focus on scalable, distributed systems.

- Expertise in integration with enterprise platforms and services, including APIs, messaging systems, and databases.

- Deep understanding of performance optimization, scalability challenges, and fault-tolerant system design.

Qualifications :

- 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in data architecture, software architecture, or related roles.

- Experience working with large-scale data platforms and cloud-native architectures.
