We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with deep expertise in cloud-based data platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing sector data platforms, advanced data engineering skills, and a solid understanding of modern data warehousing and governance strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and implement cloud-native data solutions leveraging Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake Storage.

- Drive large-scale data processing using Apache Spark, PySpark, and SQL to handle structured and unstructured data.

- Design and optimize Azure Databricks architecture, including control plane and compute plane functionalities.

- Establish secure networking configurations, governance models, and compliance strategies for enterprise Databricks environments.

- Implement data warehousing methodologies (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault) for enterprise reporting and analytics.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated, reliable, and repeatable deployments for data solutions.

- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models and architecture.

- Work closely with SAP ERP data integration and analytics use cases.

- Promote best practices in data architecture, security, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of overall IT/data experience with strong focus on data architecture and engineering.

- 4+ years hands-on with Azure ecosystem (ADF, Databricks, Data Lake Storage).

- Strong programming expertise in Apache Spark, PySpark, SQL.

- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing principles (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault).

- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data solutions.

- Exposure to manufacturing industry data processes.

- Understanding of SAP ERP data structures and integration (preferred).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and bridge the gap between technical and business users.
