Role Overview :
As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be instrumental in extracting actionable insights from complex datasets to drive strategic business decisions. Your day-to-day will involve developing and implementing analytical solutions, building predictive models, and presenting findings to stakeholders across various departments. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, data engineers, and product managers to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven strategies. Your work will directly impact the company's ability to optimize processes, improve customer experiences, and achieve key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges and improve decision-making.
- Analyze large datasets using SAS and SQL to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
- Design and build data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate analytical findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, develop data collection strategies, and ensure data quality.
- Conduct predictive analytics to forecast future trends and outcomes, enabling proactive decision-making and risk mitigation.
- Build and maintain data models to support analytical initiatives and ensure data consistency and accuracy.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms using SAS and other relevant tools.
- Proven expertise in writing complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and experience in designing and building data models for analytical purposes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a data analytics role.
