Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Python, Excel, and data analytics. The ideal candidate should be capable of working with large and complex datasets, developing optimized SQL queries, performing statistical analysis, building reports, and translating business requirements into actionable analytical solutions.

The role will involve working across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, supporting business and healthcare data analytics requirements, and collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server.

- Analyze and troubleshoot SQL query performance and implement query optimization and indexing strategies.

- Extract, transform, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.

- Perform data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, validation, and quality checks.

- Use Python for data analysis, automation, transformation, and statistical analysis.

- Apply descriptive statistical methodologies and analytical techniques including classification, regression, and association analysis where applicable.

- Work with healthcare datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.

- Develop and maintain analytical reports and dashboards using MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or similar reporting tools.

- Create and maintain Excel-based reports using advanced Excel functionalities.

- Work with Microsoft Access and relational databases for data extraction and analysis.

- Apply data warehousing concepts, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.

- Translate business requirements into practical data solutions and analytical applications.

- Prepare analytical reports and present findings to business stakeholders and customers.

- Perform root-cause analysis to identify data and business process issues.

- Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, resolve data issues, and deliver projects within timelines.

- Manage multiple projects and analytical requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reliability across reporting solutions.

- Document analytical processes, queries, reports, and data-related procedures.

Must-Have Skills :

- 35 years of hands-on Data Analyst experience.

- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

- Strong expertise in T-SQL.

- Experience developing complex queries, views, and stored procedures.

- Strong knowledge of SQL query optimization and indexing.

- Hands-on Python experience for data analysis and automation.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Access.

- Knowledge of descriptive and statistical analysis.

- Understanding of classification, regression, and association techniques.

- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.

- Experience with Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.

- Experience with reporting/BI tools such as SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, etc.

- Strong data validation, reconciliation, and quality-checking skills.

- Ability to translate business requirements into practical analytical solutions.

Good to Have :

- Prior experience working with healthcare data.

- Experience with healthcare claims, patient, provider, or operational datasets.

- Experience with ETL/data integration processes.

- Knowledge of data modeling and dimensional modeling.

- Experience working with large-scale datasets.

- Exposure to statistical or predictive analytics.

- Experience working in Agile/project-based environments.

Education :
