The Data Analyst Lead will be responsible for building and scaling companys data ecosystem. This includes designing data pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring data security, and leading integrations across tools and platforms. The role will play a crucial part in AI-driven initiatives, retention analytics, and ensuring that data is accessible, accurate, and actionable for business and tech teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the data strategy, architecture, and implementation for companys e-commerce and AI-driven projects.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and integrations across platforms.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance across all e-commerce tools and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tech, Marketing, Customer Service, Product, Retail) to ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Implement and manage data visualization dashboards (Looker Studio or equivalent) for real-time business intelligence.
- Work on customer retention analytics and integration of retention tools into the data ecosystem.
- Manage and optimize AWS Cloud services (S3, Lambda, Redshift) for large-scale data processing.
- Oversee API integrations, including Shopify API (good-to-have), third-party tools, and internal systems.
- Build and maintain web-based data tools for internal teams.
- Administer and maintain all internal and external data-related tools for the organization.
Must-Have Skills :
- Python & SQL expertise for data analysis and engineering.
- Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud (S3, Lambda, Redshift).
- Data Warehousing & Data Engineering expertise.
- Strong knowledge of Data Security & Governance for e-commerce tools.
- Hands-on experience with Looker Studio (or BI tools) for dashboarding.
- Web Development skills to build internal data products.
- Experience in API integrations and automation workflows.
- Strong statistical and analytical background.
- Experience in tools administration for data, analytics, and reporting platforms.
Good-to-Have Skills :
- Familiarity with Shopify API.
- Experience with retention analytics tools (e.g., Clevertap, MoEngage, WebEngage).
- Exposure to AI/ML models in a business or D2C context.
What Were Looking For :
- 3 - 5 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related roles, with at least 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience in scaling data systems for high-growth startups or e-commerce/D2C brands.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
