1. Own and drive backend projects end-to-end-from whiteboard brainstorming to highly available production systems.

2. Design and build cloud-native microservices that are resilient, observable, and horizontally scalable.

3. Move fast, ship often-collaborate in a high-velocity environment with short iteration cycles and frequent A/B testing.

4. Work with petabyte-scale data, leveraging Redshift and other AWS-native analytics tools to power intelligent product decisions.

5. Integrate AI/ML capabilities into product workflows to unlock smarter, more personalized user experiences.

6. Collaborate with a strong team of engineers, contributing to code reviews, design reviews, and technical culture.

Who you need to be :

1. 8+ years of backend engineering experience, with a track record of shipping production systems at scale.

2. Proficient in Java/Python development ecosystem, with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and systems design.

3. Experienced in building event-driven, distributed systems using Kafka, Redis, and message brokers.

4. Skilled in relational databases like MySQL and hands-on with schema design and optimization

5. Deep experience managing infrastructure on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)

6. Extensive experience with AI coding tools to accelerate development velocity and an AI Native product lifecycle mindset

7. Bonus: Experience integrating with LLMs, vector databases, or building ML pipelines
