ABOUT THE ROLE :

We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our growing AI team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the companys enterprise AI roadmap . The Senior AI Engineer will work with the AI strategy lead and cross-functional business teams to provide hands-on technical expertise to design, test and scale agreed AI use-cases and solutions.

This is a hands-on technical role with a strong emphasis on value-driven experimentation, custom GPT development, and scalable productionized AI solutions, primarily using ChatGPT Enterprise & Azure OpenAI services.

Key Responsibilities :

A Senior AI Engineer is responsible for :

- Use ChatGPT Enterprise to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on custom GPTs tailored to specific use cases.

- Conduct Test & Evaluation (T&E) of each use case using defined success metrics to assess feasibility, value generation, and implementation complexity.

- Document outcomes, technical requirements, and learnings for further development phases.

- Work alongside the Cloud Specialist and DevOps Engineer to define the system architecture and pipeline integrations needed for enterprise-scale AI deployments.

- Translate AI technical requirements into design specs for UI and service components, guiding the Azure-based frontend/backend development process

- Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions using ChatGPT Enterprise & Azure OpenAI, ensuring compliance with performance, security, and data governance standards

- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks for advanced use cases requiring internal company knowledge integration.

- Optimize model performance, manage prompts, embeddings, vector databases, and feedback loops to improve outputs.

- Build reusable components and frameworks to enable rapid AI use case delivery across multiple departments.

Essential skills :

- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including NLP-focused development.

- Deep expertise in ChatGPT Enterprise , Azure OpenAI Service, including deployment of GPT models, embeddings, prompt engineering, and integration with enterprise systems.

- Experience building custom GPTs and leveraging tools like LangChain, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS), and RAG architectures.

- Proven ability to transition from prototype to production, with experience in DevOps/CI-CD workflows for ML pipelines.

- Strong programming skills in Python, including ML/NLP libraries such as OpenAI SDK, PyTorch, TensorFlow

- Familiarity with Azure tools : Azure ML, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, etc.

Desirable skills :

- Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate or equivalent certification.

- Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.

- Experience building enterprise-grade AI applications at scale.

- Understanding of AI compliance, data privacy, and model governance practices.
