Job Summary :

Partners Personnel is hiring an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise-grade data solutions using the Microsoft Fabric platform.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse architecture, PySpark, SQL, and modern data engineering practices. The role involves building reliable data pipelines, supporting analytics initiatives, and collaborating with U.S.-based stakeholders during Pacific Time business hours.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric

- Develop and maintain Lakehouse architecture and Delta Lake tables

- Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)

- Build and manage Dataflows Gen2 and Fabric notebooks

- Write optimized SQL and PySpark transformations

- Collaborate with Power BI teams for analytics-ready datasets

- Implement data quality checks, logging, and monitoring

- Manage Fabric workspaces, governance, and capacity settings

- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

- Document pipelines, lineage, and data models

- Support migration from ADF, Synapse, or SSIS into Fabric

Required Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering

- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem

- Experience with :

1. Lakehouse

2. Data Factory Pipelines

3. Dataflows Gen2

- Strong PySpark & SQL programming skills

- Good understanding of Medallion Architecture

- Experience with Delta Lake & Parquet formats

- Knowledge of OneLake & Fabric workspace management

- Strong communication and stakeholder handling skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in Staffing / HR Tech / Workforce Analytics domain

- Exposure to :

1. Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2

2. Azure Synapse

3. Azure Databricks

- Knowledge of dbt

- Experience with Git & CI/CD pipelines

Certifications :

- DP-700 (Fabric Data Engineer Associate)

- DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer)

- Exposure to Eventstream / Azure Event Hubs
