Flexera One Architect is expected to design and builds scalable systems for IT Asset Management (ITAM), focusing on data platforms, cloud integrations (AWS/Azure), and automation to optimize software spend, manage assets, and provide insights for FinOps/ESG, requiring strong skills in architecture, data modelling, security, and stakeholder collaboration to implement solutions and drive platform evolution.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust, scalable architectures for Flexera One, handling large data volumes and complex integrations. Lead the architectural design for distributed, high-performance systems that process massive data throughput from hybrid environments.

- Create architecture diagrams for agent-based and agentless scans; manage integrations with third-party tools like ServiceNow CMDB, SCCM, and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure). on serverless, containers (Kubernetes), storage, and security.

- Build date pipelines, define date models, and manage data flow for analytics, Al/ML, and ITAM processes, manage entitlements and optimize license compliance.

- Work with product, engineering, and business teams to translate needs into technical designs and drive consensus.

- Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, define standards, and ensure high quality, performant systems.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.

- Typically requires 8 to 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5+ years in a dedicated architecture role.

- Hands-on experience with Flexera One/FlexNet, ITAM, SAM, and Discovery tools.

- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and related services.

- Expertise in big data technologies and data modelling.

- Strong understanding of software licensing, compliance, FinOps, and ESG principles.

- Experience with distributed systems, security, performance engineering, and CI/CD.

- Understanding of licensing rules for Tier-1 publishers like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and SAP

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

- Ability to translate complex business goals into technical specifications and influence senior leadership.
