Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Lead to oversee and deliver complex projects in the Energy & Utilities sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry-specific technologies, regulatory frameworks, and operational challenges. This role demands excellent project management skills, stakeholder coordination, and domain knowledge across electric, water, or gas utilities

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end delivery of projects within the Energy & Utility domain, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality adherence.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

- Prepare and manage detailed project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.

- Oversee cross-functional teams including business analysts, solution architects, developers, and QA professionals.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, health & safety norms, and sustainability goals.

- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and project sponsors through dashboards, status reports, and steering committees.

- Support RFP/RFI processes, vendor selection, and contract management as needed.

- Apply industry best practices in project execution.

- Identify and act upon opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

- Manage change requests, scope creep, and customer expectations proactively.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Business, or a related field.

- Minimum 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in the Energy & Utility sector.

- Proven track record of leading successful enterprise-scale projects (e.g., Smart Grid, AMI).

- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the energy/utilities domain.

- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage geographically distributed teams and vendors.
