Cymetrix Software - Data Scientist - Machine Learning

Education & Experience :

Bachelors or masters degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent industry experience.

Analytical Expertise :

- 5+ years in an analytical role with a proven record as a data scientist, or applied ML.

- Strong knowledge of data matching, record linkage, or entity resolution techniques.

- Comfortable performing statistical validation of models or rule-based outputs (e.g., sampling strategies, calculating precision/recall/coverage).

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in databases, spreadsheets, and statistical tools, with advanced expertise in SQL, Python, data mining, and BigQuery analytics (Google Cloud).

Data Storytelling:

- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives.

Large-Scale Data Handling:

- Experience working with large, multi-dimensional datasets and solving complex analytical challenges.

Problem-Solving :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Industry Knowledge (Preferred) :

- Experience in payments, eCommerce, or financial services is a plus.

- Experience designing or maintaining rule-based systems (fuzzy matching, regex, lookup tables, etc.

- Familiarity with MDM tools/platforms or prior experience with master data systems.

Experimentation & Insights (Preferred) :

- Extensive experience in designing, executing, and analyzing experiments for product and feature launches.

Communication & Influence :

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, persuasive insights
