Oracle EBS Technical Consultant

Experience : 5+ Years (Pune/Mohali - Hybrid)

As an Oracle EBS Technical Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and supporting robust technical solutions within the Oracle E-Business Suite environment.

You'll leverage your expertise to customize, integrate, and optimize EBS applications, ensuring they meet critical business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Custom Development & Enhancement : Design, develop, and customize Oracle EBS components using SQL, PL/SQL, XML Publisher, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, and OAF (Oracle Application Framework).

- Integration Development : Develop and implement complex integrations between Oracle EBS and other internal or external systems using various integration methods (APIs, web services, custom interfaces).

- Data Migration & Conversion : Perform data conversions, migrations, and interfaces, ensuring data accuracy and integrity during system implementations or upgrades.

- Technical Troubleshooting & Support : Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues, analyze root causes, and provide timely and effective resolutions for production support and ongoing maintenance.

- Technical Design & Documentation : Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications and design documents.

- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions.

- Performance Tuning & Optimization : Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for performance tuning and optimization of EBS applications.

- Patching & Upgrades : Assist with the application of Oracle patches, hotfixes, and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to best practices.

- Collaboration : Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements, provide technical feasibility analysis, and deliver optimal technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong technical expertise in Oracle EBS development (R12 preferred), with hands-on experience across multiple modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, HCM).

- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, XML Publisher (BI Publisher), Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Workflow.

- Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) development is a significant advantage.

- Solid understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, underlying database schemas, and data models.

- Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems efficiently.

- Experience with version control systems and development methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.

- Master's degree (e.g., M.Tech, MS in CS) is highly preferred
