Description :
We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security / XDR Support Engineer to manage, monitor, and support enterprise-level security solutions. The role involves incident response, threat hunting, XDR platform management, and coordination with OEM vendors to ensure continuous protection of the Banks IT infrastructure.
Key Roles & Responsibilities :
- Perform advanced installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and fine-tuning of XDR security solutions
- Handle security incidents and cyber threats reported from branches/offices and provide suitable resolution
- Perform incident analysis, investigation, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with remediation recommendations
- Conduct threat hunting activities and proactively remove threats
- Ensure high availability, health, and performance monitoring of XDR applications and infrastructure
- Manage XDR infrastructure (hardware, software, network) and ensure it is always up and running
- Coordinate with OEM / vendor support teams, raise and follow up on service tickets
- Perform application and database administration, daily technical housekeeping activities
- Manage configuration, integration, and monitoring with other IT/Security tools
- Update operational knowledge base, documentation, and provide knowledge transfer to engineers
- Support onsite operations and handle critical incidents as required
