About the Role :
We are seeking highly skilled and proactive Cyber Security Engineers / Cyber Security Architects to join our growing security team in Europe. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, applications, and networks against evolving cyber threats.
The candidate should have strong expertise in security operations, risk management, cloud security, vulnerability management, incident response, and enterprise security architecture.
Key Responsibilities :
Cyber Security Engineer Responsibilities :
- Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and threats.
- Implement and manage security tools including SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Manage endpoint, network, application, and cloud security controls.
- Perform log analysis and threat monitoring across enterprise environments.
- Investigate security breaches and support incident response activities.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and development teams to strengthen security posture.
- Configure and maintain IAM, MFA, DLP, and access control solutions.
- Support security awareness and best practice initiatives across the organization.
Cyber Security Architect Responsibilities :
- Design and implement enterprise-wide cybersecurity architecture and frameworks.
- Develop cloud security strategies for AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
- Define security governance, policies, standards, and risk management practices.
- Architect Zero Trust, IAM, PAM, and network security solutions.
- Lead security transformation and cyber resilience initiatives.
- Design secure hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Conduct security architecture reviews and threat modeling exercises.
- Provide technical leadership on compliance and regulatory standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, SOC2, and CIS Controls.
- Guide engineering and infrastructure teams on secure design principles.
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend improvements.
Required Skills :
Technical Skills :
- Strong experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or Security Operations.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, or ArcSight.
- Knowledge of Firewall technologies including Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, or Cisco.
- Experience with Endpoint Security, EDR/XDR, and Threat Detection tools.
- Understanding of cloud security concepts in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience with IAM, PAM, MFA, VPN, DLP, and encryption technologies.
- Knowledge of Vulnerability Management tools like Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7.
- Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, IDS/IPS, and secure architecture.
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and GDPR.
- Scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CCSP, or Azure/AWS Security certifications preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and incident response skills.
- Experience working in international or enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
