Cyber Security Architect

Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-wide security architectures.

This role is critical in aligning cybersecurity strategy with business objectives, reducing risk, and enabling secure digital transformation initiatives across on-premise and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to IT leadership and mentor cybersecurity teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate closely with IT, engineering, and business teams to implement secure technology solutions that support business initiatives while minimizing risk.

- Evaluate business requirements and translate them into comprehensive security requirements and architectural designs.

- Conduct system security and vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and architecture reviews to identify gaps and integration issues.

- Provide expert guidance on security controls, standards, and best practices across infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms.

- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for security control failures and develop risk treatment and remediation plans in collaboration with IT management.

- Ensure security architecture aligns with relevant enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks.

- Advise on cloud security architecture, standards, methodologies, and emerging technologies.

- Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.

- Mentor and guide cybersecurity and IT team members, fostering a strong security culture across the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Assurance, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Fluency in English (written and verbal).

- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture methodologies and security frameworks.

- Expert-level knowledge of security threats, attack techniques, and their business implications.

- Advanced knowledge of system, software, and web application vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10.

- Proven experience in security risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and architecture-level decision-making.

- Hands-on experience with cloud security architecture, standards, and technologies.

- Experience collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
