Cyber Security Analyst - SIEM

Responsibilities :

- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.

- Monitor systems for security breaches and respond to incidents.

- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.

- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into development pipelines

(DevSecOps).

- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001 NIST, GDPR, etc. ).

- Maintain and update disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

- Perform regular audits and risk assessments.

- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from IIT/NIT.

- 3 - 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.

- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud platforms.

- Experience with SIEM tools (e. g., Splunk, QRadar), firewalls, and antivirus solutions.

- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001 CIS Controls).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
