Job Description :

This technical leader documents the overall platform design and helps analyze the impact of new requirements. They work with the enterprise architecture team to provide technical leadership to the platform team, create and maintain a view of the existing architecture, and resolve technical escalations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define CMDB and CSDM architecture, scope, and modeling standards

- Architect Discovery and integration patterns feeding the CMDB

- Ensure CMDB readiness for service mapping, automation, and AI

- Design, implement, and manage the SN CMDB architecture, including CI classes, attributes, relationships, and data models

- Automate data ingestion, updates, and reconciliation processes using ServiceNow workflows, APIs, and scripting

- Lead workshops and training sessions for stakeholders on CMDB usage, governance, and best practices

- Collaborate with Application, Infrastructure, and Security teams to align CMDB design with enterprise architecture and risk management

Requirements :

- Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM frameworks and best practices

- Hands-on experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Asset Management

- Proficiency in ServiceNow workflows, scripting and API integrations

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to collaborate across business and IT teams

- Project management and leadership experience to drive CMDB initiatives and improvements

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is a must
