Description :

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Specialist with strong expertise in SAP HANA and Snowflake to lead and execute end-to-end data migration projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP data modeling and ETL processes, and hands-on experience in migrating large datasets from HANA to Snowflake using tools like SAP Data Services, Talend, Informatica, or custom Python/SQL-based frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from SAP HANA to Snowflake.

- Perform data profiling, validation, cleansing, and ensure integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.

- Work with SAP functional teams to understand data dependencies, source structure, and business rules.

- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and cloud engineers to define best practices for cloud-based data warehousing.

- Implement data partitioning, performance tuning, and cost optimization strategies in Snowflake.

- Manage and troubleshoot issues during migration, including performance bottlenecks, data mismatches, and latency.

SAP HANA Expertise :

- Data modeling using Calculation Views, CDS Views

- SQL Scripting and performance tuning

- Knowledge of SAP HANA schema, tables, and metadata extraction

Snowflake Data Platform :

- Data modeling and schema design in Snowflake

- Performance tuning (warehouse sizing, caching, clustering)

- Working with Snowflake objects (tables, stages, file formats, etc.)

- Managing roles, users, and resource monitors
