We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Customer Engineering Leader to drive our product roadmap, optimize technical delivery, and lead end-to-end customer-centric engineering initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of technology and customer experience, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge mobile applications using React Native, while managing scalability across 100+ engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and own the engineering roadmap, aligned with the broader product roadmap and customer feedback.
- Lead customer engineering efforts, ensuring technical solutions address real user needs across B2C industries such as telecom, fintech, and eCommerce.
- Oversee the development and deployment of scalable mobile applications, with a strong focus on React Native frameworks.
- Manage P&L responsibilities, including manpower planning, cost forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Foster engineering excellence in CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-based solutions on AWS and Azure.
Team Leadership & Management :
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, performance feedback, and opportunities for growth.
Project Oversight :
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they align with company goals and are completed within the specified timelines and budgets.
Technical Guidance :
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, helping to solve complex problems and ensure the quality of engineering work.
Collaboration & Communication :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, design, QA) to ensure seamless integration of engineering efforts and effective communication of project status and challenges.
Process Improvement :
- Identify and implement best practices, processes, and tools to optimize engineering workflows and improve team efficiency.
Resource Management :
- Manage project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure optimal utilization of team members.
Strategic Planning :
- Contribute to the overall engineering strategy, participate in technical roadmapping, and help define technical goals.
Performance Management :
- Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and quality.
Talent Development :
- Identify training needs and development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
