We are seeking a skilled and motivated Custom Software Engineer with expertise in ServiceNow App Engine to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering customized software solutions tailored to business needs. You will work in a collaborative environment, leveraging modern frameworks and agile methodologies to build scalable, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, configure, and enhance applications using ServiceNow App Engine.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.

- Work independently and take ownership of assigned modules, progressing towards Subject Matter Expert (SME) level.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.

- Participate actively in team discussions, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

- Identify technical challenges and propose effective, innovative solutions.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow App Engine (minimum 3 years).

- Proficiency in developing custom applications, workflows, and integrations on ServiceNow.

- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and integration techniques.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities beyond App Engine.

- Familiarity with JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.

- Understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes.
