Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Windows Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting Windows server environments in a large-scale, enterprise setting. This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Windows servers and related infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems (2012/2016/2019/2022) and related components.

- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services.

- Perform regular system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.

- Implement and maintain security policies, including patch management, antivirus, and vulnerability remediation.

- Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.

- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to support application deployments, upgrades, and migrations.

- Maintain documentation related to system configuration, processes, and service records.

- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Windows Administrator in an enterprise environment.

- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.

- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.

- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).

- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools and system performance tuning.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and documentation skills.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Windows Server, MCSE, MCSA) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.

- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, HIPAA).

- Experience with SCCM, WSUS, or similar management tools.

- Exposure to Linux/Unix environments is a plus.
