Crownstack - Associate Lead Quality Analyst - Automation Testing

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

- Automate UI Test Cases in Playwright & API Test Cases in Postman

- Be well-versed with various types of testing techniques (Functional, Non-Functional, Specialized Testing Techniques)

- Design and maintain manual test cases for assigned projects.

- Assist in developing comprehensive test plans and strategies for the project, considering project requirements and timelines.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to analyze, debug, and resolve design and quality issues.

- Create & Review Test Scenarios, Test Signoff Reports

- Monitor test progress, identify issues and risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.

- Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and prevent the recurrence of defects.

- Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of QA processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- You will be responsible for maintaining the best testing practices in your team.

Requirements & Skills :

- 5-8 years of testing experience overall

- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, stake projects in an agile environment

- Good experience in Creating Test Plans, Test Strategies, setting up Testing Environments, and Understanding the business requirements

- Intermediate expertise in writing SQL queries

- Good experience on Playwright automation framework

- Good experience with Javascript/Typescript

- Decent exposure to API testing using Postman or any other similar tool

- Excellent exposure to testing Mobile and web Applications, mostly in SaaS based products

- Ability to write excellent test cases covering all useful scenarios and negative test cases

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent documentation skills along with writing good reports

- Good experience with GIT source control and associated plugins

- Must have experience in running regression or smoke testing suites

- Must have experience in deciding priorities of test cases and managing all test case scenarios

- Must have experience in handling customers directly without need of supervision

Good to have :

- Working knowledge of other Test Automation tools - Selenium, Appium, Cypress

- Good knowledge of Agile, Scrum

- Exposure of AWS and MS Azure Fundamentals

- Configuring build or continuous integration tools (e.g. Github Actions, Azure DevOps, Ant, Maven, Shell, PowerShell)

- Understanding SonarQube and writing clean code best practices

- Knowledge of Load Automation tools - Jmeter

- Experience with risk, compliance, and documentation Management

- Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for managing the application lifecycle

- Experience with Testrails, Testlink, or other Test management tools
