Crest Data Systems - Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual Testing

Qualification :

- MCA or BE/B.Tech/M. Tech Computer Science.

- ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) add on.

Job Responsibilities :

- Responsible to perform different testing such as Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Database etc.

- Generate complex test environments for different products.

- Work with Development teams as well as offshore QA resources to ensure test cases/ test scripts are thorough and complete.

- Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.

- Responsible for testing, troubleshooting and debugging features that are developed.

- Stay accountable for project deliverables & deadlines.

- Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and documenting software bugs/ defects.

- Responsible for managing the software build, release and deployment process.

Skills Required :

- Experience in handling client calls.

- Flexible resource to work in multiple projects.

- Flexible resource in terms of work hours.

- 5+ Years of experience in Manual Testing with strong knowledge in QA concepts.

- Experience with different testing types like Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Database etc.

- Sound knowledge of Defect Management Cycle and logging defects.

- Experience in working with Test Management tools like TFS, JIRA.

- Strong team interaction capabilities and communication between QA and development.

- Leadership skills are a must.

- Should have working experience in Web services testing (SOAP/ REST).
