- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Tester to join our dynamic QA team.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing, designing test scripts, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications.
- You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA professionals to deliver high-quality solutions in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects or potential issues.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Perform regression, functional, integration, system, and performance testing as required.
- Review test cases, provide feedback, and ensure best practices in automation testing.
- Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively suggest improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes and automation practices.
- Document test results and provide clear, actionable defect reports to the development team.
Skills & Competencies :
- Strong hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, UFT, TestComplete, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo for automated test execution.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL for backend validation.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Educational Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Automation Testing (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium, UFT) are a plus
