Roles & Responsibilities :

- Obtain and document business requirements, translating them into user stories and system requirements for Software Development and Testing teams.

- Define and document project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

- Prepare high-level design documentation based on business requirements.

- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless project execution.

- Manage resource availability, allocation, and utilization effectively across projects.

- Host weekly project meetings to review status, risks, dependencies, and blockers for all projects under management.

- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan with milestones, critical paths, and timelines to track progress for the team, stakeholders, and senior management.

- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within defined scope.

- Prepare and maintain communication documents such as project progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and executive presentations.

- Communicate project expectations clearly and consistently to stakeholders and team members.

- Use appropriate verification and tracking techniques (e.g., burndown charts, KPIs) to measure project performance.

- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and deliverables with structured change control.

- Identify and troubleshoot problems that arise during project execution.

- Escalate issues and risks promptly to senior management when necessary.

- Ensure quality controls through verification, testing, and adherence to QA standards.

- Contribute to the development of practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to strengthen the organizations project management maturity.

Candidate Requirements :

- 10+ years of experience in software development, design, or IT project management.

- 6+ years in a supervisory or leadership role, managing cross-functional teams.

- Solid technical background with strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or Hybrid).

- Strong knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Trello, or Asana.

- Good understanding of system architecture, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and database concepts.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and software testing frameworks.

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including documentation and presentation skills.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate teams.

- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Able to work creatively and analytically in a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.

- PMP, PRINCE2, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or other project management certifications are a strong plus.

Additional Technical Skills (Preferred) :

- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and STLC (Software Testing Lifecycle).

- Exposure to Agile scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) for enterprise-level project management.

- Experience with data-driven decision-making and project KPIs/dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

- Awareness of security and compliance standards relevant to software projects (e.g., ISO, GDPR, SOC2).
