About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead - Python & Agentic AI to lead the development of AI-powered applications, LLM-based solutions, and multi-agent systems.

The role combines hands-on software development with technical leadership, requiring strong expertise in Python, agent orchestration, and modern AI frameworks.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable AI applications, guiding engineering teams, establishing development best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Python-based AI applications and backend services.

- Design and implement Agentic AI solutions and multi-agent architectures using LLMs, LangGraph, MCP, and related frameworks.

- Build agent workflows involving tool calling, orchestration, memory, APIs, and external system integrations.

- Apply prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and other AI techniques to develop effective AI workflows.

- Drive technical architecture, code reviews, coding standards, testing, and software engineering best practices.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support the resolution of production incidents.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams on containerization, deployments, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production support.

- Mentor developers, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and support the technical growth of the engineering team.

- Work closely with Product, QA, Analytics, and other stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery.

- Participate in sprint planning, effort estimation, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 6 - 10 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Python.

- Practical experience developing Agentic AI and LLM-based applications.

- Strong hands-on experience with LangGraph and Model Context Protocol (MCP).

- Experience designing multi-agent architectures, agent workflows, and orchestration mechanisms.

- Good understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, tool calling, RAG, and AI application development.

- Experience with FastAPI, REST APIs, and databases such as PostgreSQL.

- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, and cloud environments.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Strong technical leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Good to Have :

- Experience with LangChain and observability or evaluation tools such as Langfuse or LangSmith.

- Familiarity with vector databases and AI evaluation techniques.

- Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Exposure to enterprise SaaS or analytics applications.

- Knowledge of application security, authentication, and authorization.
