Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Corporate Trainer - PostgreSQL to design, develop, and deliver high-quality training programs for corporate and enterprise clients across global regions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL database administration and development, along with a passion for delivering structured, practical, and outcome-driven learning experiences.

This role involves delivering engaging virtual instructor-led training sessions as well as classroom-based training when required, using modern digital learning platforms and proven instructional methodologies. The trainer will enable learners to design, manage, and optimize secure, scalable, and high-performing PostgreSQL database solutions aligned with real-world enterprise requirements.

The position strongly emphasizes hands-on learning, real-time troubleshooting, and scenario-based instruction to ensure learners gain job-ready database skills. This is a work-from-home role, offering global exposure and occasional travel for on-site corporate training engagements based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and deliver expert-led PostgreSQL training programs for corporate and enterprise clients globally

- Conduct in-depth training on PostgreSQL architecture, installation, configuration, and administration

- Deliver hands-on sessions covering SQL, PL/pgSQL, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization

- Train learners on backup and recovery, replication, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts

- Explain best practices for database security, access control, role management, and performance tuning

- Develop and enhance training materials including presentations, labs, demos, and real-world scenarios

- Mentor learners, conduct evaluations, and ensure effective knowledge transfer

- Collaborate with internal teams to improve course content and training delivery methodologies

- Deliver training through virtual platforms and conduct in-person sessions when required

- Assess learner progress and help participants achieve training and certification goals

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience working with PostgreSQL in production environments

- In-depth knowledge of SQL, PL/pgSQL, backup and recovery, replication, and performance tuning

- Experience with PostgreSQL monitoring and troubleshooting techniques

- Ability to train both beginner-level and experienced professionals effectively

- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

- Capability to explain complex concepts in a clear, practical, and engaging manner

- Willingness to travel internationally for on-site training when required

- Flexibility to work across international time zones
