Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Core Java Developer with a strong background in Python and a keen interest in cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have 57 years of hands-on experience in backend development, preferably in the banking or financial services domain. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure applications that support critical banking operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in Core Java and Python.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.

- Integrate applications with cloud services, preferably GCP.

- Ensure application security, reliability, and compliance with banking standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

- Document technical specifications and system designs.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 57 years of hands-on experience in Core Java development.

- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and backend services.

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

- Experience with multithreading, collections, and JVM internals.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and Spring Framework.

- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.

- Exposure to GCP or other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Certifications :

- Oracle Certified Professional : Java SE Programmer.

- Python Institute Certifications (PCAP, PCEP).

- GCP Associate Cloud Engineer or equivalent (desirable).

Nice to Have :

- Experience in the banking or financial services domain.
