Conversational AI Engineer ( Kore experience as mandatory)

Location : Hyderabad.

Position Overview :

The Conversational AI Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining intelligent call flows on the Kore.ai platform to automate and enhance the experience of callers into the Zelis contact center. This role will focus on translating business requirements into scalable conversational solutions, leveraging Kore.ais tools along with JavaScript customization to create natural, efficient, and accurate interactions.

The engineer will collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and IT teams to integrate conversational bots with enterprise systems, ensuring high performance, security, and compliance across all solutions. This is a hands-on development role that blends conversational design, technical problem-solving, and enterprise integration to drive innovation in customer experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and implement call flows, virtual assistants, and voice bots within the Kore.ai platform.

- Develop, test, and maintain custom logic using JavaScript for advanced call flow functionality and integrations.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into conversational design specifications.

- Integrate Kore.ai solutions with enterprise systems (CRM, ticketing, knowledge bases, telephony platforms, etc.) to ensure seamless user experiences.

- Conduct functional and regression testing of call flows to ensure quality, reliability, and accuracy of automated interactions.

- Monitor bot performance, analyze data, and recommend improvements to optimize user experience and operational outcomes.

- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards for data security, privacy, and system reliability.

- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements to conversational AI solutions.

- Stay current with conversational AI trends, Kore.ai product updates, and enterprise automation best practices.

Required :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
