Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and administer various databases, including but not limited to SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, IBM Db2, and MongoDB.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement efficient database solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

- Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.

- Conduct regular database capacity planning and performance tuning.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of proven experience as a Database Administrator.

- Strong proficiency in structured query language (SQL) and hands-on experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, IBM Db2, and MongoDB.

- Understanding and experience working with cloud platforms like AWS (Amazon Web Services) / GCP (Google Cloud).

- In-depth knowledge of database design, implementation, and maintenance.

- Familiarity with database security best practices.

- Experience in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified : Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.
