About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer (React.js) to join our team. This role requires a strong background in frontend architecture, performance engineering, and scalable application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-performing, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces while driving frontend best practices, tools, and standards within the team.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Architect and design frontend solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

- Define and implement industry best practices and coding standards for the frontend team.

- Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, frameworks, and tools and introduce them to improve development efficiency.

- Optimize systems for maximum speed and scalability across multiple devices and browsers.

- Conduct thorough code reviews and recommend tools and systems to enhance quality and delivery velocity.

- Translate complex UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional, high-quality code.

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX implementations.

- Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to building a high-performance frontend culture.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in frontend development with strong knowledge of frontend architectural principles.

- Proven expertise in React.js and its core principles.

- Hands-on experience with performance engineering for frontend applications.

- Strong experience in CI/CD pipelines and frontend automation.

- Solid background in building single-page applications (SPA) and micro-frontend applications.

- Proficiency with modern build tools such as Webpack, Babel, etc.

- Expertise in TypeScript and newer versions of EcmaScript (ES6+).

- Strong experience in working with RESTful APIs and integrating APIs into frontend applications.

- Exposure to complex, scalable, distributed systems.

- Familiarity with iFrames, web workers, service workers, and performance optimization techniques (preloading, prefetching, caching).

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work independently.

- Knowledge of Storybook and visual testing frameworks is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with testing frameworks for frontend (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright).

- Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) as it relates to frontend deployments.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Ability to mentor and lead junior team members.
