As a Consultant/Senior Consultant in our T&T Team you'll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

- Develop and execute automated test cases for REST/SOAP APIs using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

- Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand API specifications and create test scenarios.

- Log defects and support manual testing efforts as needed.

- Maintain test documentation and reports.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes.

- Architect and develop automated API test frameworks using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or similar.

- Create and execute comprehensive test suites for RESTful and SOAP APIs.

- Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate on defect resolution.

- Work with teams to improve API quality and testing coverage.

- Lead the design and implementation of advanced API automation frameworks and strategies.

- Drive integration of API automation within CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level automation engineers.

- Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to ensure API quality and performance.

- Analyze complex API test failures and recommend improvements.

Desired Qualifications :

- 1 to 9 years experience in API automation testing.

- Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.

- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.

- Basic understanding of programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Good analytical and communication skills.

- Strong hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs.

- Proficiency in automation tools like REST Assured, Postman, SoapUI, or similar.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven.

- Programming skills in Java, Python, or equivalent.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
