Connected Service Architect - Network Protocols

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Connected Services Architect to lead the design and implementation of end-to-end connectivity solutions.

The role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on leadership to define scalable, secure, and high-performing connected ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of IoT, cloud integration, network protocols, telematics, and enterprise system connectivity, with proven experience in delivering large-scale connected platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own the end-to-end architecture of connected services, ensuring seamless integration between devices, cloud platforms, applications, and enterprise systems.

- Define the technical roadmap and standards for E2E connectivity solutions, covering data flow, APIs, security, scalability, and performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, cloud, security, and business stakeholders) to design and deliver next-generation connected ecosystems.

- Evaluate and recommend technologies, protocols, and tools to enhance connectivity and improve customer experience.

- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory frameworks while designing connected services.

- Drive system integration with 3rd party services, OEM platforms, telecom providers, and cloud ecosystems.

- Perform architecture reviews, technical validation, and provide guidance to engineering teams on connectivity-related topics.

- Support proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives and lead solution prototyping for innovative connectivity use cases.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in solution/enterprise architecture with at least 45 years in connected services / IoT / telematics platforms.

- Strong expertise in end-to-end connectivity solutions, including :

a. Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

b. IoT/telemetry protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP/REST, WebSockets).

c. Telecom/5G/LTE connectivity.

d. API management and integration frameworks.

- Strong understanding of security protocols, data encryption, and privacy standards (GDPR, ISO, etc.

- Hands-on experience with microservices, containers, and Kubernetes.

- Proven experience in system integration, scalability, and high-availability architectures.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to AI/ML-driven connectivity use cases.

- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.

- Relevant certifications in cloud architecture or IoT platforms
