Job Overview :

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to design, build, and scale modern data applications on the Microsoft Fabric platform.

This role is ideal for professionals with a solid Azure data engineering background who have recently transitioned into Microsoft Fabric and are eager to work on innovative, end-to-end data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, integrating ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and visualization workflows.

- Utilize the Microsoft Fabric Workload Development Kit (WDK) to build and embed custom applications within the Fabric environment.

- Build and manage Lakehouse and Data Warehouse architectures using OneLake, Synapse, and Data Factory (Fabric).

- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for batch and near real-time processing.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver performant and business-ready data solutions.

- Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance across the Fabric environment.

- Design Power BI dashboards within Microsoft Fabric for business insights and decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3 years of total experience in data engineering, data integration, or BI development.

- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric in a production or pilot setting.

Strong hands-on experience with :

- Azure Data Factory (ADF).

- PySpark (for scalable data transformation).

- Azure Synapse Analytics.

- SQL (complex joins, window functions, query optimization).

- Experience working with OneLake, Lakehouse, and Fabric-native data tools.

- Ability to design and optimize end-to-end data workflows within Microsoft Fabric.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have :

- Experience with Power BI in Microsoft Fabric.

- Familiarity with Data Activator, Real-time Intelligence, or Dataflows Gen2.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

- Understanding of RBAC, data masking, and governance features in Fabric.
