About the Job :
In this role, you will be a key driver in the architecture, design, and development of our next-generation carrier-grade wireless access points.
These cutting-edge products will enable our carrier and enterprise customers to meet the ever-increasing demand for high-bandwidth applications and services.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the development of next-generation Wi-Fi solutions, with a focus on Wi-Fi 6/6E/WiFi 7 standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, create high-level and detailed designs, and oversee implementation.
- Evaluate and select appropriate chip vendor firmware/target SDKs, and define the high-level architecture.
- Architect and develop software modules within an embedded RTOS and/or Linux kernel environment.
- Optimize system performance, ensuring high throughput, low latency, and robust stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Wi-Fi functionality and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Wi-Fi technologies and standards.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the team.
- Collaborate with product management, hardware engineering, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to the innovation roadmap, pushing the boundaries of technology to achieve best-in-class solutions.
Required Qualifications for Consideration :
- Major experience in Wireless Domain.
- 15+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong Wi-Fi AP product knowledge with a deep understanding of Wi-Fi standards (IEEE 802.11
a/b/g/n/ac/ax/axe/be).
- Hands-on experience in the architecture, design, and development of advanced Wi-Fi features for WiFi 6/6E/WiFi 7 standards.
- Solid understanding of chip vendor firmware/target SDK architecture.
- Proven experience in architecting and developing modules in an embedded RTOS and/or Linux kernel environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent mentoring skills with a passion for building and leading strong technical teams focused on innovation.
- Strong desire to drive and push the boundaries of technology to deliver best-in-class solutions.
Preferred Qualifications :
- In-depth knowledge of wireless security protocols (e.g., WPA3).
- Experience with network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SNMP, VLAN).
- Experience with software optimization techniques for embedded systems.
- Contributions to open-source Wi-Fi projects.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
