Collegedunia - Senior Backend Developer - Java

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our Platform vertical and contribute to extending and scaling our product line. As a key member of the team, you will work across LimeTray's ecosystem, collaborating with internal teams to deliver stable and scalable releases.

Experience : 4 to 5 years

Working Days : Monday to Friday

Shift : 10:00 AM 7:00 PM

Type : Full-time | BYOD (Bring Your Own Device carry your own laptop)

Location : Gurugram (Work From Office)

Tech Stack :

- Framework : Spring Boot

- Databases : MySQL (primary), PostgreSQL (nice to have)

- Other Languages : Python, Node.js (pluses)

- Queueing System : AWS SQS (primary), others (plus)

- Version Control : Git

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain REST APIs for various applications and services.

- Optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies.

- Integrate and manage asynchronous workflows using AWS SQS.

- Take ownership of the full product lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment and monitoring.

- Review code, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product) to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications :

- Proficiency in SQL optimization and performance tuning.

- Experience with RESTful API development and distributed systems.

- Hands-on knowledge of AWS SQS or similar queueing systems.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and scalable system design.

- Demonstrated ability to own and drive features or modules end-to-end.

- Strong communication and leadership skills
