Job Summary :

We are seeking a versatile PHP Developer with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our development team in Vellore.

This role is ideal for a full-stack enthusiast who is comfortable working across the entire development lifecyclefrom server-side logic using modern frameworks like Laravel and CodeIgniter to crafting responsive, interactive frontends.

You will be responsible for building scalable web applications, integrating social media platforms, and maintaining content management systems like WordPress.

Key Responsibilities :

- Backend Engineering : Design and implement server-side logic using PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.

- Architecture Implementation : Develop and maintain web applications following the MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture to ensure code modularity and scalability.

- Responsive Frontend Development : Craft pixel-perfect, mobile-first user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap grid systems to ensure cross-browser compatibility.

- Dynamic Interactivity : Utilize JavaScript and jQuery for asynchronous data processing (AJAX), DOM manipulation, and enhancing user experience through client-side scripting.

- CMS Customization : Develop, theme, and customize WordPress websites, including plugin integration and managing custom post types or hooks.

- Social Media Integration : Implement OAuth and various Social Media APIs (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) to facilitate social login, sharing features, and data synchronization.

- Database Management : Design and optimize MySQL relational databases, including writing complex queries, indexing, and ensuring data integrity.

- UI/UX Design Collaboration : Apply basic Web/Graphic Design principles to bridge the gap between design mockups and technical implementation.

- API Development : Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with third-party tools and internal microservices.

- System Troubleshooting : Debug and resolve cross-platform issues, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities like SQL injection and XSS.

Required Technical Skills :

- Server-Side : Expert knowledge of PHP 7.x/8.x and core concepts of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

- Frameworks : Proficiency in either Laravel (Eloquent, Blade, Artisan) or CodeIgniter.

- Frontend Basics : Strong command over HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap 4/5.

- Scripting : Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and jQuery library.

- Database : Proficiency in MySQL and database management tools like phpMyAdmin or DBeaver.

- Integration : Practical experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Social Media SDKs.

Preferred Skills (Added Value) :

- Version Control : Experience using Git (GitHub/Bitbucket) for collaborative coding and version management.

- Design Tools : Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma for asset extraction and UI tweaks.

- DevOps Basics : Knowledge of Linux/Unix command line and basic web server configuration (Apache/Nginx).

- Search Engine Optimization : Understanding of technical SEO best practices for web development.
