Cognos Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cognos Developer with 5+ years of experience in building and optimizing planning and reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing TM1 cubes, rules, and TurboIntegrator processes, as well as designing interactive reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics.

This role involves close collaboration with business users to deliver robust, data-driven planning and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and enhance TM1 cubes, dimensions, rules, and TI (TurboIntegrator) processes.

- Develop dashboards and reports using TM1 Web and Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW).

- Optimize model performance, implement security and access controls, and ensure data integrity.

- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and provide effective planning and forecasting solutions.

- Design and develop reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Cognos Analytics.

- Create and maintain data models using Framework Manager to support BI solutions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Ensure best practices in data modeling, performance tuning, and report design.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in IBM TM1 / Planning Analytics and IBM Cognos Analytics development.

- Strong expertise in TM1 cube building, rule writing, and TI processes.

- Experience with PAW, TM1 Web, and Cognos reporting tools.

- Hands-on experience with Framework Manager for data modeling.

- Knowledge of performance tuning, security setup, and access control in TM1/Cognos.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with integrating TM1 with other BI tools or data sources.

- Exposure to cloud-based Planning Analytics environments.

- Familiarity with SQL for backend queries and data extraction
