- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to help people across the company understand the rationale behind your proposals, and the complex nuances of design problems

- Experience designing complex digital products and systems, not just websites. You have helped ship products that solve real problems, and that people use

- Ability to design polished, high-fidelity UIs of your solutions using Figma. You know what great design looks and feels like, and you push to get there

- Design systems knowledge, understanding, and practice

- An appreciation of the entire product development process, from problem solving and system modeling, through to detailed UI, visual, and interaction design

- Motivated self-starter who can deeply collaborate with other disciplines including product management, engineering and customers

- A growth mindset. Willingness to own problems. Comfort with ambiguity. A desire to make things better. A balanced sense of optimism and humility

- Strong bias for action with excellent organizational and self-management skills enabling success in a remote and largely asynchronous environment.

Nice to haves :

- Understands engineering and can build prototypes to communicate ideas (Framer, Loveable, Windsurf, v0, Figma, code etc).

- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, and familiarity with JavaScript.

- Experience designing for multiple across modern enterprise surfaces - desktop, chat interfaces, AI first experiences
